Always His Second Choice

On Clara's 4th anniversary, a framed photo reveals her fiancé Damian has had 100 dates with her best friend Blair. For years, Clara was his second choice—Blair took her seat, her room, his protection. When Blair breaks her father's watch and ruins her design, Damian forces Clara to sign a settlement, using her late father's studio as leverage. Clara stops begging to be chosen. She signs, leaves her ring with Blair, and flies to London one-way. He'll learn too late.
