The real heiress is a dragon

Dragon Isle's last heir must fix frozen North Wall against demons, needing vast wealth. Court names her lost princess. False princess and princes scheme; scales, breath, hoard-sense foil them; she saves the siege. Truth: dragons guard abyss; fake drew its power. She uses the treasury to fix the Wall, refuses titles, returns Dragon Queen.
